Fluffy protein pancakes


These fluffy protein pancakes are a delicious and nutritious option for a high-protein breakfast or healthy snack. You can experiment with different flavours of whey protein powder to add variation in taste. Enjoy!

Ingredients (for ~1 person)

  • 40g whey protein powder (flavor of your choice)
  • 40g oats
  • 150ml milk (plant-based or dairy)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Optional: sweetener to taste (such as honey, stevia, agave syrup)
  • Optional: toppings of your choice (fresh fruit, nuts, honey, maple syrup)


  1. In a bowl, combine the whey protein powder, oats, and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. Add the milk to the mixture and stir until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Add the egg to the batter and mix again until all the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Let the batter rest for a few minutes to allow the oats to swell. This will help create fluffy pancakes.
  5. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and grease it with a little oil or butter.
  6. Pour a small amount of batter into the pan, depending on the desired size of your pancakes, and spread it evenly using the back of a spoon.
  7. Cook the pancake on one side until bubbles form on the surface and the edges become firm. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Carefully flip the pancake with a spatula and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes, or until it turns golden brown.
  9. Repeat steps 6-8 with the remaining batter.
  10. Serve the protein pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruit, nuts, honey, or maple syrup.
